A milestone that confirms our values
We are proud to share that Dream On Technology has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver medal, placing us in the top 15% of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance.
For a young company - we were founded in 2024 - reaching Silver on our first full assessment is a strong signal. It says something simple: we did not bolt CSR onto our growth, we built it in from day one.
What EcoVadis actually evaluates
EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating, used by over 130,000 companies across 200+ industries and 175 countries. The assessment looks beyond marketing claims and examines documented practices across four pillars:
- Environment - greenhouse gas emissions, energy, waste, sustainable IT, supplier impact
- Labour & Human Rights - working conditions, diversity, training, well-being, remote work policies
- Ethics - anti-corruption, fair competition, responsible information management, data privacy
- Sustainable Procurement - supplier policies, environmental and social due diligence
Each pillar is scored against industry benchmarks, and the result is independently audited. There is no greenwashing path to a Silver medal - the score reflects what an organisation actually does.
What we did, concretely
A few of the practices that contributed to our score:
Sustainable cloud and software engineering
PanicSafe is hosted on multi-region infrastructure with measured energy efficiency, and our engineering practices favour efficient code, conscious dependency management, and an explicit eco-design checklist for every release. Cybersecurity software does not have to be wasteful by default.
Inclusive, distributed-by-design workplace
Our team is distributed across France and works in a flexible hybrid model that reduces commuting impact while protecting collaboration quality. Our hiring process is designed to widen the candidate funnel - not narrow it.
Strong ethics framework from day one
We adopted a formal Code of Conduct, anti-bribery policy, and conflict-of-interest rules at incorporation, not after a first audit. Data privacy by design is part of every product specification, not an afterthought.
Responsible procurement
Our supplier evaluation includes environmental and social criteria. We prefer European cloud providers, support local services around our Lyon headquarters, and require contractual transparency from critical ICT third parties (which also happens to align very well with DORA expectations).
Why CSR matters in cybersecurity
Cybersecurity is sometimes treated as a purely technical industry, but its societal footprint is huge: we secure the systems on which hospitals, schools, banks and public services depend. Treating sustainability and ethics seriously is not a side activity - it is a precondition for being trusted with that responsibility.
For our clients, our partners and our distributors, this Silver medal is a tangible answer to questions that increasingly appear in RFPs and vendor due-diligence questionnaires:

What’s next
Silver is a great milestone, not a finish line. We have already identified the areas where we can keep improving, and our objective for the next assessment cycle is clear. We will continue to share updates here and on our LinkedIn page as we progress.
