When every second counts, improvisation is the enemy

Cyber crises rarely announce themselves. One morning your SOC sees an unusual spike, by lunch your domain controllers are encrypted, and by the end of the day you realise the very tools you rely on - email, Teams, ticketing, even shared drives - are part of the problem. You cannot manage a crisis with the systems that are causing it.

That single insight is the reason we built PanicSafe.

What is PanicSafe?

PanicSafe is the AI-augmented crisis management platform developed by Dream On Technology, a cybersecurity software editor founded in Lyon, France, in 2024. It gives any organisation a secure, virtual crisis cell that activates in less than 30 seconds - fully independent from the IT environment under attack.

In concrete terms, PanicSafe brings together everything a crisis cell needs in one resilient, encrypted workspace:

  • Guided playbooks with clear roles (RACI), step-by-step actions, and decision support
  • Integrated chat and video conferencing, so communication never falls back to compromised tools
  • A centralised crisis vault containing your critical procedures, contacts, and documents
  • An automatic logbook that timestamps every decision for post-crisis analysis and compliance
  • SARA, our AI assistant, which dynamically adapts the response to your specific scenario

Whether the incident is a ransomware attack, a major supplier outage, a data leak, or a physical event, your team logs in from any device - desktop, laptop, mobile - and finds a structured, coordinated environment ready to use.

Why we built it differently

The market is full of generic project tools that have been retrofitted for incident response. They share three structural weaknesses:

  1. They live inside the same IT perimeter that attackers have just compromised.
  2. They are too generic to encode the methodology a real crisis demands.
  3. They depend on improvisation, which is exactly what fails under stress.

PanicSafe takes the opposite approach. It is built following the crisis management frameworks of leading cybersecurity agencies, including ANSSI in France and ENISA at European level. The platform is hosted in a multi-region, high-resilience environment, end-to-end encrypted, and engineered specifically for the reality of crisis situations - when systems are down, stress is high, and your team needs clarity, not complexity.

A direct fit for NIS2, DORA and ISO 27001

Modern regulations are converging on a simple expectation: when an incident occurs, you must be able to respond, communicate, document and learn, fast.

PanicSafe maps directly to these requirements:

FrameworkWhat PanicSafe brings
NIS2 (Article 21)Incident response and crisis management capabilities, evidenced by the automatic logbook
DORAOperational resilience for financial entities, with independent communications and traceability
ISO 27001 / Annex A.16Information security incident management aligned with business continuity

Compliance officers, CISOs and CIOs no longer have to choose between agility and traceability - PanicSafe delivers both by design.

What’s next

Over the coming weeks we will share more deep-dives on this blog: how SARA augments human decision-making, how to design crisis playbooks that actually get used, real-world lessons from the field, and updates from our partner network across Europe and the United States.

If you want to see PanicSafe in action with your own scenarios, book a demo. The teams that prepare today are the ones that stay in control tomorrow.
